The Name

Tigrister takes its name from the Tigris River — one of humanity's oldest waterways and the lifeline of Upper Mesopotamia, where civilization began.

The Origin

The foundations of Tigrister were laid in ancient walled city near where the Tigris River is born, at the heart of the Fertile Crescent— a place that has hosted empires and civilizations for four thousand years, where history writes itself. We think software should be built with the same patience.
